         <description><![CDATA[<div>Rockefeller was born on July 8th, 1839. he was the son of a traveling businessman and he quickly pick up on how to be industrious at a young age. in 1853 his family moved to Cleveland Ohio and that is where he went to high school and college. 1863 was the year he and some other went into the oil business together. Eventually he bought the others out as the company continued to grow and he became the president of the Standard Oil Company .</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>even at a young age Rockefeller understood the value of work. he earned money by raising turkeys, selling candy, and doing work for neighbors. he went to college to study book keeping but he eventually partnered with some others to build the Standard Oil Company. In 1882 the Standard oil Company truly became a monopoly because at that point it controlled 90% of the nations refineries and oil pipelines. the company was able to grow so much because it bought out its competitors. He became the wealthiest man in america because he owned almost the entire Industry</div>]]></description>

Rockefeller donated more than 500 million dollars to various educational, religious and scientific causes. He also funded the establishment of the University of Chicago and the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research, which is now know as the Rockefeller university.</div>]]></description>
