From research that I gathered it states, "Humans are increasingly influencing the climate and the earth's temperature by burning fossil fuels, cutting down forests and farming livestock. This adds enormous amounts of greenhouse gases to those naturally occurring in the atmosphere, increasing the greenhouse effect and global warming." (ec.europa.eu/clima/change/causes_en) This connects to my data by showing that these human activities were are doing on a regular basis are actually more harmful than we think. These activities are releasing dangerous gases for our atmosphere to hold which is ultimately heating the Earth and it's atmosphere which is known as the greenhouse effect.

From research that I gathered it states, "Greenhouse gases include carbon dioxide and methane that accumulate in the atmosphere and create the heat-reflective layer that keeps the Earth at a livable temperature. These gases form the insulation that keeps the planet warm enough to support life, however too much gas is being released into the atmosphere which is heating the planet at a dangerous and rapid rate, which is something to look out for." (climatechange.lta.org) This information supports my data of the two gases are collecting in the atmosphere at a large amount and the way these gases hold the heat is heating the Earth at a dangerous rate.

From research that I gathered it states, "Projections of future climate over the U.S. suggest that the recent trend towards increased heavy precipitation events will continue. Hurricane-associated storm intensity and rainfall rates are projected to increase as the climate continues to warm. It is projected to rise another 1 to 8 feet by 2100. This is the result of added water from melting land ice and the expansion of seawater as it warms. The Arctic Ocean is expected to become essentially ice free in summer before mid-century." (climate.nasa.gov/effects/) This data supports my results stating that weather patterns, arctic, and oceans are going to be the main climates and patterns hit the hardest with global warming continuing.

From research that I gathered it states, "Polar ice caps are melting as global warming causes climate change. We lose Arctic sea ice at a rate of almost 13% per decade, and over the past 30 years, the oldest and thickest ice in the Arctic has declined by a stunning 95%. If emissions of gases continue to rise unchecked, the Arctic could be ice-free in the summer by 2040. But what happens in the Arctic does not stay in the Arctic. Sea ice loss has far-reaching effects around the world." (worldwildlife.org) This data supports my survey and other research showing the arctic ice is melting from the gas missions and global warming and the loss of ice is effecting many environments and climates.

My solution is a solution that involves everyone as individuals. We have to use social media, peaceful protests that hold the leaders and government officials accountable toward global warming and the seriousness towards it. Using social media we must use our pages to show data and find support to show our encouragement to fight to end global warming. For protesting as individuals we might look small to the government but we can be one large voice of accountability to the government to make sure they stand up as well to solve the problem that is known as global warming.
