Reading and re-reading chapters, doing all practice problems at the end of each chapter, going to the math lab every Wednesday night to get help, comparing homework answers with friends, and asking questions every class. 

4. What do you plan to do differently? 

Attend office hours to get a solid explanation on things that need more clarification.

I have been spending about 4-5 hours each week investing time into this statistics class. My success in statistics class has really helped me fully understand the concepts. 1)      I got an 8 on the previous quiz and a 9.5 on this quiz which averages out to about an 8.75. 
2)      I invest about an hour and a half on Monday and Wednesdays to prepare for class the next day so about 3-4 hours a week. 
3)      Read over everything. 
4)      I plan to start taking more notes and spend more hours a week studying as we progress.

Outside of class time, I have been putting in a couple hours every other day. I’d say it probably adds up to be 4-5 hours a week. 3. Besides putting in effort and attention during class time, I try my best to avoid being hesitant as far as asking questions. Taking handwritten notes on the content out of the textbook each chapter/section has been extremely beneficial as far as being able to answer questions in class. It also helps to be enrolled in the supplementary class for Statistics, “Success in Statistics,” also on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 4. I’m at least relatively pleased with my success thus far, but I’m 100% sure I could be putting in even more time and do even better. I plan to continue taking notes from the textbook and during class, but also try to do more practice exercises on my own.
