If the sinks and toilets are too high, step stools and potties should be provided.

- There should always be enough liquid hand soap, disposable towels, both hot and cold water should be running.

- Clean and disinfect both toilets and potties after each use.

- Teach children the importance of hand washing properly after eating, and using the toilet/potty.

-Lisa Parker:)

Regulation #37

Why: we always make sure to wipe the diapering changing area to prevent the spread of germs, especially if they had any kind of virus or a flu.

What it means: the operator must follow Nunavut diapering procedures. We follow our schedule for diaper changing each day. We worked as a team in our centre.

How: we separate diapers for each child and put their name on the diaper holders, we always make sure there’s enough pampers, wipes, diaper rash cream and sanitizing wipes by the following week. We have two washroom’s and in both washroom's we have diaper changing area so we can wash our hands every time we changes diapers and sanitized it after we used it.

-Annie
