I think Moose's character changed because he wanted to be in a different position and he was not sweet or nice, (as it states in the book). And he wanted to carry the ball to the end zone like he dreamed of. When coach told Moose "Great job!", Moose just ignored him and asked to play a different position. That's how I think Moose's character changed.

It changed because he wanted to a lineman and he was really good at being one, but then he wanted to run the ball. One example about him being a good lineman i that he would always make a hole for the runner and he would stay on his block. The second example of him wanting to run the ball it said he wanted to and he was pretty fast on his feet so he decided he wanted to run the ball.

Moose at the beginning was a normal lineman for Bedford City High foot ball team. After helping a runner score a point he began the desire to run the ball. In one of the last games of the season the coach let the Moose run the ball. After finding out that running the ball is a lot harder then it looked and learned to stay at what your good at. For example he didn't expect five men to come after him while running the ball, so he got tackled cause he isn't good at it. That when he plays in a normal game he take on to men at once because he good at that job in the game.
