The graph illustrates that how many cigarettes smoked in the US and the proportion of overweight adult. 

To begin with, this chart compares the relationship between cigarettes smoked person and adult obesity in the US. In 1960, the number of cigarettes smoked in the US was higher than the adult obesity. The figures were 4200 and and 1800 approximately. Moreover, in 1960-1980, the proportion of adult obesity was equally stable. While cigarettes per capita per year was gradually decreased from 1960 to till 2010.
