         <description><![CDATA[<div>In Costa Rica, fraudulent maneuvers, contraband, omissions, debtors and taxpayers are still detected that make use of the weaknesses of the laws to circumvent their obligations. Costa Rica must improve tax records and the way in which taxes are collected, in addition to improving penalties, penalties or fines for evaders and increasing the burden.<br><br>Other initiatives are to strengthen the fight against tax fraud, others to introduce the global income and one to convert the sales tax from 13% to one of added value (VAT) of 15%.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<pre>Chancellor Epsy Campbell confirmed that Costa Rica is registering a "significant increase" in Nicaraguan immigration that could lead to an immigration crisis.
Campbell explained that between 600 and 700 Nicaraguan visas are processed and that between 100 and 150 of them enter the country illegally every day. This figure corresponds to Nicaraguans who enter Costa Rica for the first time.</pre><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>the problem is the political and social situation in Nicaragua begins to generate migratory pressure, in addition to the economic and commercial pressure that we have been dragging for weeks due to the problems of transit of goods. There is a significant increase that could lead to a migration crisis.<br>the problem is aggravated when the arrival of Nicaraguans brought with it a wave of crimes, committed by them. also makes the economic and social situation of the country more difficult.<br><br><strong>As a possible solution</strong>, one could try to contact international organizations that provide human and economic support so that Costa Rica faces this migratory crisis. In addition to the intervention of the Nicaraguan political situation, the wave of immigrants is prevented.<br>As for the issue of crimes and crimes that bring these situations, it could toughen the immigration procedures and verify who is really entering the country, and people with crimes proven in their country, do not enter ours. as well as increasing border security to stop illegals.</div>]]></description>
