The two hardworking ants wanted to collect food to prepare for what is going to happen tomorrow, but the other insects told them to stop working so hard and enjoy the sunny day. So, when the heavy rain comes on the next day, the other insects don't have any food for them to eat. Then the ants invited the other insects to come to their house and eat the food that the ants have gathered since the ants have more than enough food.

Tom sawyer wanted to quit his work of painting a 90-foot-long fence, but when he asked his friend Jim to help him paint the fence, Jim refused. So, Tom had a brilliant idea of playing hard to get, he said to his friend Ben who's really wanted to paint after seeing Tom paint that painting is a heavy-duty job and there will be consequences if done poorly. Then more kids keep coming and asked Tom to allow them to paint, making Tom's job a lot easier.

The 9-year-old narrator wanted to have a memorable time together with her cousin Sachi, but Sachi is going to leave in less than a week. So, knowing Halloween is near, the narrator went and invited Sachi to trick or treating with the narrator's parents. Then, when it finally comes the time for Sachi to leave, Sachi promised her that they would have just as much fun when the narrator came to visit Sachi in a few months.
