The collaborative school teams in this study helped close the knowledge gap between disciplines on IDEA requirements for transition-age youth and helped CTE teachers better understand how their work with students fits into transition planning. SPED teachers came away with a better understanding of CTE pathways and how they could play into writing quality transition plans.
