         <description><![CDATA[<div>Joint training between disciplines in&nbsp;individual school teams was shown in one study (Emery, 2019) to improve knowledge and attitudes of collaboration as professionals co-serve students with disabilities. The collaborative school teams in this study helped close the knowledge gap between disciplines on IDEA requirements for transition-age youth and helped CTE teachers better understand how their work with students fits into transition planning. SPED teachers came away with a better understanding of CTE pathways and how they could play into writing quality transition plans. I would be happy to present my findings.</div>]]></description>
