The larger one is used to ward off predators,other males that want to steal is mate and attract females;all done by waving its larger claw. The smaller one is used for digging food and burrows. However the female one has two small ones both for digging food and burrows. When the males wave their claws, they look like they are playing the violin       hence the name ''fiddler crab". their predators are the </strong> ibis, terns, possibly the giant mudskipper and the mangrove kingfisher. At high tide, fish and rays will also <strong>eat</strong> any <strong>fiddler crab</strong> they can find. That is why they have a large claw.<strong>      </strong></div>]]></description>

It is closely related to the hermit crab and king crab.  Adult coconut crabs are about 1 metre (40 inches) from leg tip to leg tip and weigh about 4.5 kg (10 pounds). The full-grown adult ranges in colouring from light violet to brown and deep purple. Young adults are brown, with black stripes on their legs. </div><div><br> </div>]]></description>

When the Reef Octopus notices its prey, it will try to move move towards a nearest rock to its prey and camouflages into the color of the rock.When its prey comes near the Reef octopus, the Reef Octopus will suddenly jerk towards its prey and eat it. It is common to see them walk in a swaying motion, pretending to be a twig caught by the wind. They are nocturnal, so they mostly stay still during the day and move around to look for prey at night. However, its camouflage doesn't help it in the dark.
