Children will also learn to count to 10 confidently. It will also enhance the children’s learning disposition - perseverance and lifelong learning. </div><div><br></div><div><strong>Learning objective:</strong> </div><div>Children will be given two rubber balls and they will count and take 5 steps away from the bucket and try to aim to ensure that the ball will fall into the bucket. With constant scaffold from teachers and classmates, together with trial and error, the children will eventually be able to throw it in. When they successfully throw it in, they can take 10 steps away from the bucket and repeat. </div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Learning Goal:</strong> Children will be able to differentiate the sizing of circular objects and sort them according to sizes.<strong><br><br>Learning objective:</strong> Children will be able to put things in order to size in a sequential manner from big to small.  </div><div>Children will learn how to compare and sort objects by size through this activity. </div><div><br><strong>Description of the activity:</strong> There would be a mold stand of differently sized circular shapes placed in front of the children. Children will then be given different sizes of the circular shapes and has to spot the differences in sizing through trial and error to compare the differences in sizing and sort the circular shapes into the matching shaped circular mold. The circular molds would be aligned from the biggest circular shape to the smallest circular shape from the right to the left of the mold stand.<br><br><strong><br>Examples of what children learning will look like:</strong>  Children would be able to spot the differences between objects of different sizes and place objects according to their sizes.</div>]]></description>

Being able to demonstrate control<br><br></div><div><strong>Learning Objective: </strong>The child will be able to throw a ball at different levels using different techniques such as using their overarm or underarm.<br><br><strong>Brief description of the activity</strong></div><div>Materials needed</div><div>- Small bouncing ball</div><div>- Rope or tape to mark the floor and paste the different targets on the wall<br>- Different targets to paste on the wall such as numbers or letters<br><br></div><div>Stick the different targets high up and low on the wall. This will allow the child to bring out the overarm and underarm action when throwing the ball. Place a rope or tape in a line on the floor, about 10 – 15 steps away from the wall. Get the child to stand behind the line and ask them to toss the ball towards the different targets on the wall<br><br></div><div>The educator can specify a number or letter and the child must aim at the corresponding target on the wall.<br><br></div>]]></description>

As the teacher pulls out an item from the bag, the child comes up to talk about the toy.<br>4. The child will be encouraged to turn and face the other children.<br>5. The teacher tells the child to describe about his favourite item. However, if the child does not know what to start with, teacher should prompt the child with simple questions.<br>6. Once they have answered and demonstrate a bit about their item, they would have to go back to the circle and sit down. Each turn should be short and sweet.<br>7. The teacher can wrap up this activity with children spending sometime together playing/sharing their items with one another.</div>]]></description>
