Website #1: Budgeting

In this website it is showing people a list of what to budget for if they choose to live on their own. This is like the daily spending sheet we did for the class. The website breaks down and explains how people should put money aside for certain things that are necessities when living alone. They also recommend this article for students looking to live alone because that is a big responsibility.

The reason why I chose this website is because I found this a while ago when I was doing an assignment for my other classes. This website had actually helped me plan a budget for future expenses if I do decide to live on my own after college. It has me rethinking about my daily spending just like the assignment we did for this class. That is why I chose this website and what makes it different from the other website is that this one explains it to you. While the other, is a more formal article about the overall living expense.

The summary of this website is that it is is trying to get you to sign up for their services, but that is not useful for this assignment. This website is basically telling people how much it would cost to live in certain cities in Canada. Also, it gives a run down of the living expenses in each city, as well as, it shows the average salary a person can make in the cities.

The reason why I chose this website is because it does have a lot of information a person can gain knowledge from before choosing to live in any city. It gives you a break down of everything from salary, monthly expenses and even a dollar converter. I found that different from the other websites.

This website is basically a guide for those interested in moving to Canada. It gives people an estimate of how much a person would pay for themselves when living on their own. It even shows which provinces and cities are most affordable. Also, the websites tells people roughly how much they should be paying for when living alone.

The reason why I chose this website is because it gives people a better understanding of where to live in Canada. It gives an option of moving to a different province/city depending on your budget and or salary. This website is different from the rest because it breaks down taxes, as well as transportation fees for each province.

This website is from the Government of Canada. It is supposed to help Canadians calculate their expenses so that they can see how much the spend. It also has a feature of showing people how much they can save as well.

I chose this website because I feel that most people should use it to get familiar with budgeting their expenses when living alone. It also great because it can give tips on how to decrease unnecessary purchases. This is different then the other websites because it is an actual calculator, while the others are articles.

This video is about a man named Levi explaining how much it realistically costs to live on his own. In this video, he breaks down his expenses and way he is only paying a certain amount. This is because he lives in a small town and he is only because he is renting an apartment. He states the only his main expenses which is rent, electricity, internet and food.

The reason why I chose this video is because it is different from the rest. He makes the video more of a house tour and takes about his own expenses. Also, I found it interesting that he's only paying about $1,100-$1,200 a month because he learned how to save his money.

She explains how being financially stable is very important especially one your own. So, she highly recommends people to always know what their expenses are and not to buy unnecessary things that will affect their monthly budget.

I chose this video because she gave amazing tips that people should take into consideration when living on their own or thinking about it. It is very different from the other videos because she gave some of her own explains as to why she moved out and wat she is doing to save to pay for all her expenses.

This video is about a friend giving another friend a lesson about living on your own and how it is not as easy as it seems. She has to keep all the expenses in mind and remember that they always come one after another. She also has to pay so much and does not have much so she would need to save more. This shows that people should watch this video and learn about all the expenses that were stated to learn more for themselves.

I picked this video because it is different then the other ones. It is a quick animation that will have people thinking if they are really ready to live on their own in only 2 minutes. Also, I found it interesting in the end of the video that if you think is are ready to move, something would unexpectedly happen and you need to be ready for that.
