there are a lot of places where you can eat there . From restaurants to street vendors, the souq has foods to sate any hunger. Did you know was called “Souq Waqif” because the sellers used to stand at the entrances to display their goods. You can also learn about pearls. Qatar was at the heart of the pearl industry in days past. At the pearl shop nestled amid the stores selling handicrafts, you can strike up a conversation with the owner - a former pearl diver, learn about the lost art of pearling, and see the many varieties of white, pink, and grey pearls.

it is an amazing place that combines the past with the present in a magnificent way. you should consider visiting it.
