''The Paleo-Indians of North America were nomadic hunter-gatherers. ''

The Cahokia tribe had some weapons as you can see in this image. They had sharp objects, they had hooks they could have put on a stick to grab things.
These objects look very old. Or as if they were made out of wood. The wood they used on the weapons look like they carved or made by some machine. Looks like they could have been bones from animals as well. They used these weapons to hunt.

''Scientists have determined that the Adena and Hopewell lived in cone-shaped homes made of sticks, bark, and willow.''

They would use wood, sticks, bark. This is how they build their homes. They build fences around them with long sticks, longer then a human. They have wheat and they do farm to get food. They use stone, rocks, or clay to make their ornaments. They could use tools as weapons to defend themselves. They build it a shape of a cone so all the sticks would fall together from the top and hold a roof.

''The Adena and Hopewell also built mysterious mounds.''

They were built in the ground. They were used to burry dead people. They would even burry some gifts or other important things. These mounds were large but not to high on height. Looks like they were made with some animal designs. These mounds were important to the Cahokia tribe.

''They also built homes above the ground.''

These home were made out of clay or bricks. They would let the clay and the brick to dry out in the sun when they build their homes. Their houses don't look even but they are made firm and steady. There is a bit of grass they have in front of this house. They do live in deserted areas where there is a lot of heat.

''To build homes for all the people, they began to build cliff dwellings.''

These are cliff dwellings and they are made on sides of mountains or right in walls. They are made for people to stay in to live. Looks like is made up of bricks rocks possibly they could have used stone as well. Its pretty hot there a lot of heat. They usually move out of those places or were forced to move out because they couldn't get any water. It wouldn't even rain over there, and people moved because such things.

''The Ancestral Pueblo used stones to build dams and reservoirs to direct and hold the water.''

They built these dams to hold water. Back where they were they didn't have water . They had to move from place to place to find water and bring them to these dams. These dams were built out of stones as you can see. Looks like they were made with clay as well. They probably were dried off by the sun. They didn't have much farming areas because most of their place was all deserted. They would had to be nomadic people moving from place to place to save water here in these dams. They did eventually move to other places.
