Mrs. Ward will show you a fun game that focuses on comparing sets of coins.
Directions:
*Grab a handful of coins and place in a pile to the left.
*Grab a second handful of coins and place in a pile to the right.
*Count the first set of coins and write the value and cents sign on some paper.
*Count the second set of coins and write the value and cents sign to the left of your first value.
*COMPARE! Use < = > in your number sentence. They read it out loud (ex: "Forty two cents is greater than 39 cents.")
