The Nazi's didn't believe in religions that weren't their own. This is shown by how even after they formed an agreement with the Catholics, the Catholics were still persecuted and discriminated against by the Nazi's. This supports the idea that the Nazi's adopted the Swastika in order warp it and make it their own in order to enforce their religious beliefs.
