         <title>For me, my task ahead is to really flesh out my plans, such that any person could pick them up, and deliver an effective and engaging lesson. I think I have the bulk of ideas there, but I need to provide all the little details, along with creating the different visuals and being very specific about what manipulatives and realia I plan to use. It was really helpful to work with a partner on this. </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In Susan's Unit plan, she incorporated the strategy of "chunking" the information, which makes it easy for young students to really understand the information that is being presented to them. I would like to incorporate this strategy into my lesson because it will make it easy for my young students to understand the information fully (hopefully) as well as utilizing repetition to reinforce the vocabulary and expressions that we are leaning in class. </p><p>-Vanessa S</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>My biggest task to finalize my lesson plans is to craft meaningful assessments. Because of the short lesson time and the age group of the students, I think that the assessments will have to be short or woven in as significant parts of the lesson activities. I think that I would do well to utilize the principles of backwards design in formulating the assessments.</p><p>~Lauren</p>]]></description>
