<title>This picture represents natural beauty of my Homeland, Ukraine. People in my country are very close to nature and always find time to look at the wide fields and green forests. </title>

<title>That&#39;s Ukrainian national dishes. Ukrainian food is very rich and unique. It includes pierogy with cabbage or potatoes, different types of crepes and beet soup with sour creme which is called &quot;borshch&#39;. &quot;Salo&quot; is also very popular in my country - it&#39;s fatty part of the pork, marinated in salt and spices. </title>

<title>This photo was made during the events that occurred in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev, in 2013-2014, it was called &#39;Maidan&#39; or &#39;Revolution of Honor&#39;. Revolution started in early November 2013 and lasted for a few moths. It was triggered when someone from president&#39;s office ordered to use violent methods towards students that were part of the peaceful protest. They wanted Ukraine to sign a contract with European Union. More than hundred of people died in order to overthrow the president. After he left the office, Russian military forces invaded Crimea, peninsula in the South of the country. After the referendum Crimea was annexed while tension between Ukraine and Russia was growing. </title>

<title>After the Crimea conflict separatist activists, who supported Russian politics in the Eastern regions of Ukraine promoted the idea among the people of becoming a part of Russia as well. Leaders of self-declared DPR (Donetsk People&#39;s Republic) and LPR (Lugansk People&#39;s Republic) were fighting against Ukrainian government. Later it was revealed that the major part of those leaders were Russian citizens and their paramilitaries were reported to make up between 15% to 80% of the combatants. Russia provided separatists with the weapon and later sent volunteer military troops (up to 30,000 soldiers) to Ukrainian territory. The war hasn&#39;t stopped since then. The official numbers say that 10,000 people died, unofficial numbers are probably scarier. This conflict changed life of Ukrainians once and for all. We changed as a country and as a nation. The war enforced our values and our unity and brought us together to support our soldiers and protect our people. Ukrainians do everything possible to fix our corrupted political machine and end the conflict in the East. </title>

<title> After the Donetsk conflict economy that was pretty stable dropped dramatically. Until 2014 one dollar was equal to eight grivnas (Ukrainian currency). In 2014 dollar reached 33 grivnas and then stabilized in a range of 26.5 grivnas. New government tries to improve the economics and reduce the corruption by making reforms and new laws. </title>

<title>One of the most charming places in Ukraine is Crimean peninsula. It&#39;s flanked by Black sea and the sea of Azov. Crimea is very interesting as a historical object. Archaeologists found ancient cities that were built thousands years ago when Greek colonies came to peninsula through the Black sea. They also found settlements of Skythians (9th century BC till 1st century BC) who were among the earliest people to master fire warfare.</title>
