         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>I come prepared.</strong></p><p>I grab my breakfast first.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>I walk in quietly and calmly.<br></strong> I use a Level 0-1 or whisper voice and smile or greet to my teacher and friends.<br><br></p><p><strong>I hang up my backpack and coat.<br></strong> I take out what I need for the day and leave everything else neat and tidy.<br><br></p><p><strong>I go straight to my seat.<br></strong> I sit down, eat my breakfast, perform my assigned morning duties-- including discarding breakfast trash.<br><br></p><p><strong>I start my morning work.<br></strong> I check the board, morning STEM bin, or my folder for directions and begin working quietly.<br><br></p><p><strong>I wait and listen.<br></strong> When I’m done, I read silently or follow the early finisher task.<br> I keep my eyes on the board and ears ready for announcements and morning meeting.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I use a classroom ring bell with a chant before giving any important instruction. I also assign table leaders for grabbing any materials needed. Materials are color coded and accessible.</p><p>For walking on the hallway they line up with a chant in the classroom before coming out.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Transitioning to next classroom</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>I am prepared and ready for my next class.</strong></p><p>I put away my pencil, books, and other supplies in their designated spot. I show the teacher I am ready by having calm hands, feet, body, and face (eye contact).</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>I am ready to line up with my partners.</strong></p><p>When my partners also show they are ready, my teacher will call on me to line up at the door. Feet facing one way, eyes towards the back of their neighbors, backpacks on, hands to side. The hallway leader will inspect the class, and when everyone is ready, we'll do a back and forth roll call. (Roll call will be made up by the class... Ex:"hands to your side! clap clap clap".</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>We will walk calmly.</strong></p><p>The hallway leader will ensure we are walking on the colored tile and white tiles. If a student is not following expectations, the hallway leader may tap them and kindly redirect. The hallway leader can assign a point to the student performing with highest transition expectations. We will walk to our other teachers room. We cannot enter the other teacher's room until we demonstrate we are ready (done by a call and response). If we have time to spare, we will do a quick math fluency review quietly led by a teacher leader.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>I will greet and enter the next room.</strong></p><p>When I enter my next room, I will listen to their directions, greet them, and calmly walk to my desk and perform the bell ringer.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Morning entry: </p><p>Students lineup outside of the room and I greet them however they’d like to. Immediately after entering, they will put their belongings in their designated spot and collect all needed materials for the day. Afterwards, they begin eating breakfast quietly. Once the timer is over for breakfast, they throw it away and begin the daily morning work until the timer is over. </p><p><br/></p><p>Classroom entry after specials or lunch: </p><p>Students lineup outside of the room Along the wall quietly and will be escorted inside. </p><p><br/></p><p>Afternoon switch: </p><p>Students lineup outside of the room and I greet them however they’d like to. Immediately after entering, they will have a timer of 2-3 minutes which will give them enough time to put their belongings in their designated spot and collect all needed materials for the day. Once the timer is over, they will begin their first task. </p>]]></description>
