Coconut oil is often said to be the best oil to use on your hair to reduce protein loss and keep it looking healthy.

One older study published in 2003 examined the effects of applying coconut, sunflower, or mineral oil to hair before or after washing. To see which oil was best for protecting hair health, the researchers measured the amount of protein the hair lost after each of these treatments. They found that coconut oil was better at preventing protein loss than both the mineral and sunflower oils when applied either before or after the hair was washed. In fact, coconut oil came out on top in all of their studies and reduced protein loss in hair that was undamaged, bleached, chemically treated, and UV exposed.

Coconut oil could help you grow your hair longer by:

moisturizing your hair and reducing breakage

protecting your hair from protein loss and damage when wet

protecting your hair from environmental damage like wind, sun, and smoke

Possible benefits include:

Lice prevention.

Sun protection.

Dandruff treatment.

Hair loss prevention.

Coconut oil is a vegetable oil rich in nutritious lipids, used in cosmetics for its moisturising and nourishing properties. Coconut oil contains a high concentration of lauric acid (about 50%), a fatty acid with a strong affinity for proteins found in the hair.

Coconut oil is generally considered safe to apply to your skin and hair. However, using too much could cause a buildup of oil on your hair and scalp. This could make your hair greasy and dull, especially if you have very fine hair.

Widely available anywhere. A lot of products contain coconut oil for its healthy properties.

pre blended oils can be an essential oil blended with a base oil. they are mixed together to perform specific objectives such as calming and relaxing. pure essential oils should never be applied directly to the skin, however certain oils are known to be very good for the skin. they also reduce and heals stretch marks on the skin. they also have positive effects on the circulatory system and positively affect the immune system which therefore make the bodies defense system a lot stronger. there are also cons to using pre blended oils which can be caused by applying too much of the oils onto the skin that can cause damage to the liver and kidneys. an overuse of this product can also cause headaches, sickness and skin irritations. there are many different pre blended oils for example ; lavender, ylang ylang, rosewood and clary.
