- breakfast etiquette (cutlery usage and type of food)
- she was nicknamed 'the Greedy Queen' for many reasons. Etiquette demanded that the Queen be served first and plates cleared away as soon as she finished. Due to the queen being a gobbler, other people on the dining table were usually unable to finish their meals before their food were taken away. Considering the unusually speedy eating manners of the queen, a 7 hour banquet could easily be reduced to 30 minutes. It can be said that the queen has poor table manners.
-There were four to six courses, with seven to nine dishes in each. For big occasions dishes often included cod with oyster sauce, ballotines of duck in Cumberland sauce and roast lamb. There would be a dessert course, with dishes like chocolate profiteroles. A buffet of hot and cold meats was also kept on a sideboard during the meal, just in case people got hungry between courses.
