I believe that I will be implementing the 4C's as part of analyzing our learning and which ones we are addressing in our learning. I will also be using the PLN's with students so they realize that I am not the only one that can help them with their learning.

I love many of your writing ideas (blogging, photos) I will of course use these in the upcoming year. I am also looking forward to challenging my students to do deeper, more critical thinking collaboratively!

Wow, so many cool things we talked about and you shared with us. I definitely would like to set up a blog for math with my students. I also like the idea of the padlet for students to share their thoughts about a topic. I like the idea of using google forms to use as an exit or enter ticket for the lesson.

I could list several ideas but definitely Blogging and PLNs. I have already created a personal blog and created the presentation for PLNs.

I am going to set up blogs for my kiddos. I have a blog and have only posted twice in the last 2 months so I will be trying to make posting on it a part of my everyday life. I have so many ideas swimming around in my head and am excited to go home and have some time before school starts to process them!!! I am expecting BIG things this year for my classes!

I plan on setting up a blog for each of my students so they can create their own blog throughout the school year. Having a specific time set aside during the week only for blogging will help me to carry out this task throughout the school year. I also plan to have my students create their own PLNs and use the idea of table top twitter to record "shout outs" to students who are rocking it out on a daily basis. So many great ideas to take with me! :)

I want to implement using the 4 Cs in my lesson planning. My first step will be to create a lesson for the first day of class to introduce the concept to the students. I also plan to use posters on the Cs to decorate the room, so I will keep them at the forefront when lesson planning. I'm hoping to find that I'm already using them. :)

My students won't have Chromebooks until next year. I get to create all my own stuff for World Language. I'm starting a new course in 8th grade World Language for the new school year and will get the students' input to decide on the units we will study.

*I plan on using whole class blogs to capture learning.

* I will begin using blogs to encourage writing for a student that I tutor.

*If I have computers in my classroom, I see a lot of uses for padlet, including do nows, CFUs, and exit slips.

*After this session, I am thinking more about expanding my online presence as an educator by using twitter. I signed up yesterday and I am starting to follow all the ed gurus :)

*Table-top twitter seems really easy to implement.

I will definitely be implementing a writing workshop twice each week. I really love the idea of having a chart that tracks students in their different stages: planning, drafting, Editing, Meeting.

Another thing I am definitely going to do is use infographics ask a medium for my students to present their research on social studies and science topics.

Another thing I want to use is the Table Top Twitter idea. I think I am going to use it as a shoutout board. One example might be: "@amcnair you did a great job leading our research group #collegebound

I am definitely going to try the blogging with my students so I will set up a blog when I get home and get started on it myself. Having a brother who is a professional writer himself, I am hoping he will be a guest blogger and help me out with this and comment too. He is in Ecuador right now so it will be cool for the kids I think too for him to be a part of our blogging since they know he travels and writes.

I will be using the writing prompts for math. I'm going to begin by modeling the first couple of days and then allow the students to do them on paper first, then introduce the padlet

I am enthralled with Padlet, using it for Do Nows, Parking Lots during lessons, and Exit tickets. Also, I had Twitter but never used it - in the last two days I have had some contact from organizations willing to sponsor our school with some educational resources and learning - thanks for the help! The first step in making Padlet a reality is planning it into my lesson so that it is effective.
