  • The function symbol [f()] Can be written with any letter [like d(), r(), or fn()]
  • Functions can be inputted onto a table, and there is a relation between not only the two sides of the table but the next and previous numbers on one side of said table.
  • The term "ordered pair" may be used to describe Coordinates in some cases.
  • You can write functions on a coordinate plane. Just make sure they pass the vertical line test (an imaginary line parralel to the y axis may NOT touch 2 or more points of a function on a graph, or it's not considered a function)!
  • You CANNOT get two or more outputs from a function, or else it's not considered a function.
  • Square roots and squareing are problamtic, as they always fail the Vertical Line Test.
  • The X coordinate ALWAYS comes before they Y (and the Y always comes before the Z, if ona 3D plane, just saying)!
