In the Trust vs Mistrust stage the child is learning how to trust their caregiver and that is a very important stage. When I was a baby my mom would sing me a song she made up when I was fussy. She took care of me by nursing me and would cuddle with me when I was upset or tired.

This is the stage where kids are trying to learn self-control. This stage is important because when the kids learn self-control they know how to manage certain things. When I was in this stage I was very well behaved and I was always helping out with things and I really liked to play and share.

Kids like to choose what happens in things in this stage. When I was in this stage I liked to play games where I was in charge, but if someone plays wrong I would feel guilty because maybe I didn't explain how to play it right so they would get upset that they were wrong.

This stage is when a child has to work long and hard but their inferiority is when they feel failure. When I was in this stage school was always hard for me so it took a lot for me to sit there and focus on what I was doing because it was hard like a test. When I would turn my test in I would feel inferiority because I always felt like I failed the test or that I didn't do good on it.
