Jericho
It is one of the oldest known cities in the world and dates back around 11,000 years. And back in Joshua when the Israelites circle the city they blow trumpets and the walls fall down. And many archaeologists have determined by the remains of parts of the city that the walls did indeed collapse. They tried to explain the walls destruction by saying it was caused by an earthquake, but it would have been a very strange earthquake to only allow the wall the wall to be destroyed. There is also one spot on the wall that did not fall on the north side, where the Bible said Rahab lived and the Bible said her house was miraculously spared. The Israelites were also noted as storming the city and destroying it with fire and a well known archeologist is quotes as saying, “The destruction was complete. Walls and floors were blackened or reddened by fire, and every room was filled with fallen bricks, timbers, and household utensils; in most rooms the fallen debris was heavily burnt.” Multiple archeologist groups from different places and time periods have all came to the same conclusion on how it was destroyed and they match up to the bible perfectly.

Due to its prominence, the city gave its name to the lake for long periods of history, as the Sea of Gennesaret. The city had other names: Kinneret, Kinnerot and Ginosar. The remains of the Gennesaret have been excavated at a site called Tell el-'Oreimeh in Arabic and Tel Kinrot in Modern Hebrew. As other places around the lake rose to prominence, such as Tiberias and Qasr al-Minya, the name of the lake changed to Lake Tiberias or Lake Minya. So I matched the passage to Mark 8 and saw that the crowd gathered near Dalmanutha. "Dalmanutha is only mentioned in Mark's Gospel, but the corresponding passage in Matthew 15:39 says, “And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala,” which has been identified with some certainty as the modern-day town of Migdal, located slightly inland near Israel's Ginosar Valley." The Luke 11 passage mentioned that they were in a boat going across a lake. And the modern day Dalmanutha is next to a very large lake, the Sea of Galilee.

Ninevah (modern-day Mosul, Iraq) was one of the oldest and greatest citiesin antiquity. The area was settled as early as 6000 BCE and, by 3000, had become an important religious centre for worship of the goddess Ishtar. The early city (and subsequent buildings) were constructed on a fault line and, consequently, suffered damage from a number of earthquakes. One such event destroyed the first temple of Ishtar which was then rebuilt in 2260 BCE by the Akkadian king Manishtusu. The Amorites occupied the site and one of their kings, Shamshi-Addu I, added to the temple and left behind inscriptions recording his other construction projects. King Shalmaneser I (reigned 1274-1245 and also constructed the city of Kalhu) built a palace and temple there and is thought to be responsible also for the first walls surrounding the settlement.
