While visiting Panama City we went to a place called Pier Park . Pier Park is a large shopping center and entertainment hub.  We visited the Ron Jon Surf Shop and dined at the Pompano Joe’s restaurant during our day long trip.  In addition, we visited the Gulf World Marine Park, and I swam with dolphins during my “Royal Swim”.  The dolphins who I swam with were named “Surf” and “Jenna”.  It was an amazing experience!

Though it takes about five hours to drive from Orlando to Tallahassee, the region’s parks and beaches are well worth the trip. The western Panhandle is in the central time zone, so times there are an hour ‘earlier’ than in the rest of the state.
