WS 23/24

You do not have to visit the lectures because the lecturer just reads from the slides and the tutorials take place seldomly or are kept very short. You have 3 deliverables during the semester, but you do not put a lot of effort into them as they are not graded. Still, some tutorials are related to the deliverables which you have to attend.

Your final grade just consists of how you do in the exam. I wrote a summary of all the topics from the slides, which had around 80 pages (graphs included). If you learn all of it, you will easily get a good grade. There is enough time for the exam (90minutes) and they are friendly in giving points.

I would recommend taking this course if you want to have a rather relaxed time during the semester and do not mind learning the topics by heart at the end of the semester. (If you start one week before the exam with going through the slides and studying, you´ll be fine.)

Intresting lessons, but the excersices are very important! Project is oke

WS24/25

Course was mostly research-based. That means reading lots of papers, doing research etc. We were split into groups of 4 and had to work on one topic about Human-AI interaction (topics were given). The course organization was nonexistent - schedule changed all the time and deadline were not clearly communicated. But overall the learning curve was very steep, especially when it comes to conducting experiements and doing research.

Examination was basically an interim presentation, final presentation, and final report. All in all not too much work on the examination parts, but all of us had to attend experiment sessions where we had to conduct the experiments. Total of 18h per person in one week - just keep that in mind. Although you don't get a grade for it, it's still mandatory.

Pro tip: Go with the flow of the course and expect the schedule to change. Definitely a very interesting course.

WS25/26 in person

Best course to do if you need quick and easy ETCS, since it is done the week before the semester starts. You have to be there every day for that week, but this attendence grants you 40/100 points and the tasks are very well structured and fun. It's not nessecary to watch the lecture videos.

Multiple choice, fairly simple. You just need to look at the lecture slides beforehand and most of the exam questions are covered in the group work week, so you learn it anyway. Good grading so it's very easy to get an A

Registration is in the beginning of september and this course is extremely popular, so you have to register rigth when it is released

WS 2025/26 - offline - blocked course.

The course is entirely focused on agile project management, heavily involving the technology industry. So if you are focusing on other industries, I wouldn't recommend taking it.

The course is taken by industry consultants at Campana and Schott, so you get real-world industry insights from them.

There is no examination, only case-studies after each lecture (weighing 25% of the grade each), which are the best part - very interactive, hands-on, collaborative, and fun!

The course curriculum is not too structured, as the discussions took more time than teaching and learning theory, hence the consultants skipped many parts of slides, but overall good overview of different concepts
