The first step about allowing parents to use their language to communicate is very important and as a teacher I can take advantage of translators to assist me when speaking with them. Step number three is something that I would also use in my classroom because I can post visual cues along with written directions to help students understand what they are suppose to do. This allows me to understand more of what they may be talking to me about as well as allows me to better plan my lessons to connect with students better.
