I hope you enjoy your retirement and time with family and friends. - Laura Korotkin]]> 2018-06-04 14:59:50 UTC https://padlet.com/ctabaka/mrs_wilson/wish/265410745 https://padlet.com/ctabaka/mrs_wilson/wish/265418176 After 2008 and great recession, many independent schools including DCDS were very worried about enrollment and being able to keep their doors open.  The  Middle School at DCDS has consistently been at, near, or past full enrollment.  I credit our teachers and facilities of course, but the clincher was always the hard work, dedication, professionalism, kindness, care, (worrying), friendship and friendliness of Sheila Wilson.  Now 10 years later, DCDS and the Middle School is robust, expanding, and looking forward to the next chapter of its history.  In my mind, Sheila, you are as much of a reason as anyone as to why we are who we are and what we will become.  You gave so much to our school, its children and families, the staff and faculty, and we are thankful to have benefitted from you and the job that you did and the person that you are.  I have enjoyed working alongside you and with you as we tried to make each day special for the 400 people within the walls of DCDS Middle School.  To say that we do and will miss you is a gross and total understatement.  I am so happy for you and glad to have known you and am glad that you are my friend.
