I am very glad to introduce myself to you here. My name is Quanquan Tong and I am 22 years old. I was born in Beijing, which is the capital of the People’s Republic of China, so I am a Chinese student that studies in Spain. This year will be my last year studying at the UAM because I am going back to China next summer. I study a total of 5 subjects this semester, including core subject: the first language Spanish which focused on the general characteristics of Spanish in America, and four elective subjects like comparative linguistic and the origin of the language which are super interesting. Well, my lifestyle is pretty simple, but the main turning point of my life is when I decided to go abroad and study in a foreign country. I have to manage everything of my life using an unfamiliar language. Well, I have to say that Spanish is SOOOO difficult that I have spent a long time to learn it.

For example, I have to wake up at about 7 o’clock in a typical weekday, and I do really need a cup of COFFEE to start my day. I almost eat out for breakfast as I am on the go because I spend a long time on doing my makeup every morning. So my morning would be like, open my eyes and take a shower, then put on my makeup, and rush to the train station to attend the lecture. It’s a little bit busy. Then I will spend about 5 hours studying at the Uni. First of all, I listen to the music constantly. Without a doubt, music can make me feel relaxed at any time. I listen to lots of types of music, such as classical, rock, punk, r&b, pop, rap, etc. 
And I like playing video games, my favorite game is the overwatch. I usually play healers, such as Mercy, Ana and Moira. I feel so excited when I collaborate with my team mates whether winning or losing.
I also love watching movies, series and animes, among all those movies, Harry Potter has become my favorite since I was a child. And I do love watching animes!!! I’ve learned Japanese by myself by watching animes, and I have to admit that I am a big fun of Japanese culture.
I went on a trip to Japan this summer, which was incredible amazing.

But I have no pets in Madrid because it’s difficult to bring them back to China, that makes me feel very lonely😞.

I have learned French as second language in my last three years and I can also speak Japanese and Spanish.
