the media i worked with on day 1 was canvas and acrylic paint. More specifically, the color blue and yellow. I used those specific colors because i'm trying to make my painting as bright as possible, and those are two colors that i find the brightest. I started my project by filling the corners first because i felt as if that's where i should start. The beginning stages were just filling in the corners with the blue first and then adding the yellow so you could still see the blue a little. Nothing is going very well right now, but i'm struggling with what to add to my painting to make it look better.

I accomplished my colorful lines, and creating my piece to look a little bit more abstract. I used some colors directly out of the tube but only because i find them to be very pretty and appealing. I used the technique of line by adding some to the middle part of my piece. I developed it by deciding to add lines to the middle part of my painting. I discovered that adding the lines made my painting look more fuller (:

I took a risk because i basically changed my entire background and changed it to black. The technigues i used is I gessoed the black, and used a round brush for the blue and yellow streaks. This helped me turn it into a complex design but adding more colors and making the colors, blue and yellow, more bold in the painting.I m proudest of adding the yellow because i think it makes the painting pop more. I need to keep developing on adding more to my painting and creating it into something.

The elementst that appear to be in my piece is color, a little bit of texture and line. Some of the principles that appear to be in my piece are movement, and some unity. Im going to add some rhythm in my piece but adding consistant shapes. My formal analyisis has helped because i added more color, and added more movement by adding more lines. My main challenge is figuring how im supposed to turn my painting into something more than just a bunch a colorful lines. What could help me solve this problem is that i could consider googling some inspiration.

My color schemes was mostly warm colors, but i worked with tints more because i wanted lighter colors.

I was really struggling in the beginning but then one i painted it black and added a lot more color, it actually came to be something and i think it looks really pretty! I wouldn't have intersected the lines together, and i also wish that i would've added some texture throughout the whole thing. I hated the beginning

Im most proudest of what my painting turned out to be. I was really struggling in the beginning because i didnt know what to add to it to create something other than a background. I'm also most proudest of my color scheme. I think it's really abstract and i like all the bright colors i put in along with the white shapes. If i wanted to do something different with mu piece i would've not intersected the lines with other colors. I also would have blended the couple corners in more to make it look more natural. Another thing i would have done differently was put texture all throughout the piece. I liked the amount of time you gave us to work on the assignment because it gave me the chance to completely start over. However, i thought that the fact that we had to come up with something completely on our own was hard and challenging, but i guess thats the point. Overall, i really like how my piece turned out and i liked the process we went through (:
