Moxi is a robot created to lighten the load of RNs by performing time consuming tasks for them (Wessling, 2021). These tasks can include pickup and delivery of medications from pharmacy, transporting telemetry boxes, etc. The idea is for this to save time and steps for nurses (Wessling, 2021).

I believe Moxi has the potential to be helpful for a currently overworked and under-supported generation of nurses. I am wary of the upfront costs of implementing Moxi in the hospital setting. I wonder if it might be wiser to invest that money in adequate pay for the nurses or improving the staffing shortage. However, I understand that this new technology is being implemented to cope with the staffing shortage in the long-term. Moxi has already been implemented in my hospital, and it has been a slow process to familiarize her with the facility and then test her delivery processes. I would be interested to see a cost analysis once Moxi has been working in acute care for a few years, as I do not believe a definitive statement can be made about Moxi's cost-effectiveness this early in her career.

I chose Carter for my team because his top strength is "Command." He would make an excellent leader for a team. I also think Faith would be a great addition to the team for her vision and "Futuristic" strength. Sheila would be an integral part of my team as she can push through any challenge that comes her way. With her, I think her and Ivan would be great to bounce ideas off each other that would push the team forward. Angelica would also be a strong team member with her "analytical" gift to see every situation from all angles. All these people make me confident in the team we have for this project.
