In march 9th, the women of Mexico decided to do a strike to protest against feminicides. The strike's dinamic was not going out, not going to school, and not buying anything.

The issue does not look great in Mexico. The culture that is taught has big misogynistic means, this is causing hundreds of problems and hundreds of women to feel unsafe even around their own households.

Being a woman  in this society can be hard. From not feeling safe being in a parking lot by myself, to being scared of men and their intentions. The fear of being abused or abducted lingers my mind everytime that i step out of my house, that and the fact that just because i am a woman i am more prone to have a smaller salary or be less capable of doing things than a man, makes me very angry.

Sadly this is a problem that goes way beyond the surface, but small things like improving womens opportunities in jobs, paying them the same as men who are doing the exact same work, stop with the mysogyinistic jokes and respecting women can help improve our situation.
