My understanding is that K-5 RLA is aligned to the RLA RBIS and present throughout the material. The components are similar with some discrete differences in segmentations within the lesson. All start with the TEKS that have on grade level rigor, tell the focus of the lesson, share what and how to teach the segments, allow for CFUs and formative assessments, have key vocabulary included, have embedded supports and so much more. Overall, I'm impressed with the K-5 Bluebonnet product. As a former science teacher, I love the embedded science and social studies cross curricular information.
