When I am, I'll learn a lot more than I need to. I'm motivated by my unwillingness to quit and the desire to know more. I'm very logical and I'll analyze a problem to death, I  might make a plan, but I might also ditch it in the middle and decide to wing the whole thing. I must understand the problem well, first. 
To conclude, I probably have a more holistic approach, mixed with some analytic characteristics.

I went through most of my elementary school by not even opening the books, just from listening at the classes. However, it doesn't always work, and this is not elementary school anymore. I still learn a lot by listening, but at long classes my mind tends to wander off. 
With practical courses, like labs and programming, I love demonstrations and a chance to do something myself.
