Be open and learn endlessly. Ingrain those two concepts in your mind and build peace. Not everyone has the same thoughts as you. You are you, and they are them. But, what you can do is reflect and be in those people's shoes. Act and speak what you want, but others shall perceive what is right/wrong of you. Love anything and anyone around you; it's that sense of compassion.

Who in this world is capable of predicting the future? no one right? We cannot be sure of our future, but what we can do, is make a difference. What we can do is bring a better future for our fellowmen. What we can do is help our planet. There is an up and coming Willow project the United State's government is trying to uphold. This willow project can destroy our environment because it aims to drill oil and gas in Alaska which is a 23 million acre area. That much gas to the environment is enough to increase climate change. Our planet is already suffering, we cannot allow this project to continue! If we want to continue peace building for our future, we need to have a future in the first place. It is terrifying because I want to b able to grow old and be with a family of my own, now my own future has a possibility of being destroyed because of this project. Once you know, you will have won half the battle. Peace is a very difficult thing to achieve around the world. There are so many nuances to it that can make it seem so overwhelming. This is why it is best to focus one problem at a time. One peace project at a time. Understanding that you might not be able to fix everything in your lifetime is important as it will really put in perspective that even though we may not achieve peace now, we may achieve later on. If you were already feeling confident about yourself and how you would help create peace, then good on you! Foster that feeling and spread it through peace. However, if you're like me and you're still feeling unsure about if you can really spread peace then go beyond "plus ultra"! Everything will be fine as long as you're truly doing your best at spreading peace. You've gotten this far and read each module haven't you? That counts for something. I promise you, as long as you try your best, your efforts won't go unnoticed. Don't worry about the mistakes you'll make, you just need to learn from them and work harder. Everyone else is doing the same too. I know the quote sounds corny and cringe but it lifted my spirits so I'm hoping it does the same for you as well. You may not know me but I am Jared Dwight Rico Gagni. This letter is made by the me of mid March 2023 just to make it clear. I am 15 years old and a male who uses the pronouns he/him. Ah yes. Let's let loose the formalities to make this letter much more friendly and hopefully easier to understand for you. You must be wondering why I made this letter that looks like it has no inherent purpose from what you currently have read right? Well that is where you are wrong. The purpose of this letter is for me as a normal
15 year old to tell all of you to "live the life you want".

You also must be wondering what is up with a 15 year old who wrote this letter just for a purpose like that right? My answer to that is I just feel like it. Yes, it is that simple and straightforward. I feel like it. All of us have been stressing and worrying about multitudes of petty things. Moreover, these petty things may be our source of happiness too along with also being the nightmare that chains us forever. I am not saying that we should stop stressing and worrying about this. I mean to say that it's all natural. That is life.

Life is the same for everyone, filled with ups and downs if we just think about it. Despite that, it still is beautiful. Along with life, there is the world. The world filled with many beautiful things no matter what they seem or actually are. Feel the world around you, look at how beautiful everything and everybody is. Breathe the air of this world, hear the
people's voices or rain that drops on where you lay, and be who you want to be. Nobody is useless. Nobody is perfect. Nobody is beautiful yet still is beautiful. What we should focus on is not being what people want of us but what we want for ourselves. No matter your gender. No matter your sexuality. No matter if you have or don't have disabilities. No matter if you look different whether it is skin, hair, eyes, height, weight, and all that. No matter if you did many wrongs in the past, you can make up for it later in life. No matter your lineage and which country you come from. You are beautiful, don't make anybody
change that.

With that, I also want to say for you to be yourself. Shut out the ringing of the infected and open both their eyes and hearts. Be who you aspire to be. Whether it is to be the president of your country who will right the wrongs of the past generations, an artist who is a genius in their own league, the next Taylor Swift, part of a K-pop band that will be even bigger than BTS, or a beautiful man with a beautiful wife and beautiful children. Your options are endless. Those that I listed are just a few in many.

I have some pieces of advice that I have collected over my 15 years of experience. Don't just read them, understand them, I urge you.

Do not become what people want of you since you will only be happy for a temporary time. Do not live others' lives since those are their lives you are living, not yours- there is only happiness for that person, not you. Do not ingrain what people say about you since they are both not you and that they don't know you in the first place. Do not think about negative things too much since it will only result in the end of you, trust me on this mate- I was shrouded in a isolated and crying abyss, I don't want you in there too. Do not fight yourself since that person is also you- you are just drawing more stars around your scars. Do not despise your parents for your birth and treatment since it's their first time in being such a position and know that treat you with love- perhaps they just hate themselves so much that they knew it had to be released on something or someone. Do not refuse to do things that you might or even don't like since you will be missing many opportunities and things you may find happiness in life- "It is better to hit a thousand times with many chances than to not hit with no chance at all". Do not hate yourself for something you didn't do since you will only be hurting yourself and the person who was hurt from it. Do not treat anyone different no matter what pathetic reason it may be since they are just like you, surviving in this world to find themselves. Do not be jealous for what others have since they just are like you but managed to reach it- know that you too can do it too. Do not do "full emotion over thinking" or "full thinking over emotion" since that will only result in painful lingering regrets, despairs and miseries- best to choose a balance my friend. Do not fight or hate people for worthless reasons since you are just digging a grave both or you and the victim- it's just that your body is probably far deeper. Do not
trust your all on beliefs and religions too much since that will only blind yourself and ultimately hurt both everyone close to you, other people, and you yourself. Do not release all your hate on the world because of certain happenings since you are just gonna end up having more people get enraged at the world because it happened. Do not kill yourself because of petty reasons and people, you deserve everything that everyone deserves to have- a life they deserve to want to live and work toward for.

Just know that you are not the only one in this huge yet small world my friend. Know that someone will always be there for you. This world is beautiful but not that beautiful. Live your beautiful life, my beautiful friend.

Hi, if you are reading this I just want to let you know that you are enough. Sure people may not like you but that okay because as long as you have your friends who appreciate you for who you are then that's enough already. You don't need to please everyone or make them like for because of a fake persona of yourself, make people like you for who you are, your true and genuine self. If ever you are seeking love, let love come to you. God has that all planned out and you don't need to rush love. If you are struggling with mental health its alright you are human and its normal to be sad one day, give time to yourself and talk to family and/or friends so that you'll hopefully feel better. If you are worried about tomorrow don't be because a wise persona once said " Yesterday is history tomorrow is a mystery but today is a gift" so don't worry about your future, cherish what you have right now and don't let it go to waste. I'm aware that peace isn't something we can't merely achieve 'just like that', there's always a pressing to solve, some obstacle to peace and harmony. But that shouldn't stop us from working towards making the world a better place. There's always a need for change somewhere, but the world's always changing isn't it? Why not be a part of that change? Make sure it's really for the better? Maybe it'll last. At least, if you've done something, take heart in contributing to a brighter tomorrow.

As a young peacebuilder, I'm uncertain of what I'll be able to contribute to this change in the name of positive peace. I'm only one unassuming kid in a world of exceptional young minds after all. But I like to think that every hand thrown into the effort helps. Better one more than one less, I guess. Change can't happen without anybody to bring it into fruition. Best do what I can, and I hope anybody else would in my place.

To my doubtful self

You are nothing. You are a stigma whom you let get in the way of your own dreams. How dare you let yourself be stopped by imaginary problems all because you wish to please a nobody? How preposterous it would be to be ordinary and wallow in sadness and grief simply because you don't have the guts to be different and to stand out. You're ordinary because you are evil. You are the villain of a potential hero, who could soar above the clouds and let their artistic freedom speak. Until then, you must be something to prove yourself worthy.

To me, since it's way easier to just send someone a text or an email these days, letters hold weight. I would only write a letter to someone I find very special. Someone special enough to receive something I poured all of my thoughts and feelings into.

I would write down my experience as a peacebuilder, my ups and downs as one, a couple of tips on how to be a peacebuilder, I would write down what I would want for the future generation then I would wish them good luck in being a peacebuilder and bid farewell.

Dear Peacebuliders,

I am excited to join you in this wonderful journey to peace. I hope I can be of help. I know that every little step is still a step in the right direction. I hope in this journey I can address the problems of abuse and discrimination. I want to talk about the effects of abuse to a growing child's mentality and how we could address this problem. I also want to find common ground between different communities so that discrimination could diminish and disappear. This is to create a more peaceful community. Dear friend,

I wanted to take a moment to share with you what it's like to be a peacebuilder. It's a role that requires passion, empathy, and a willingness to work towards creating a better world for all. It's a journey that can be both challenging and rewarding, filled with moments of joy, sorrow, and deep reflection.

As a peacebuilder, I have the privilege of working with communities to address the root causes of conflict, promote understanding and respect, and create lasting solutions for a more peaceful future. It's not always easy, but the impact we can have is immeasurable.

I've learned that peacebuilding is not just about resolving conflicts, it's also about building bridges and fostering connections between people. It's about creating a sense of belonging and shared responsibility for our communities, regardless of our backgrounds or beliefs.

Being a peacebuilder has taught me the power of active listening, of embracing diversity, and of practicing empathy every day. It's a calling that requires courage and conviction, and I feel honored to be a part of this work.

Hello,

Though things have been quite tough and that being a peacebuilder will be also hard especially if you're a shy kid, you would get through it, and when you're having a bad day today remember that there is always a tomorrow that can start on a good note or a bad note but always make sure to end in a good note, and that don't think of the person you were yesterday, but think of the person you will be tomorrow.

To myself,

Hey buddy, it is me, the local peacebuilder of Asia, right now, violence has been spread throughout Ukraine, more violence of different kinds has spread throughout some countries, and Philippines has been experiencing the worst case of, well, Injustice and Unlawful killings, I have devised a solution to all our global problems and our local problems, we have to make a peace project and hope the government/s will understand.
