         <description><![CDATA[<div>Interesting phonics, fluency and PA should be developed prior to G2? Surprising. Comprehension is dependent upon what they already know. Context and background knowledge impacts the assessment results. Reading assessment is limited and we are wondering if it's useful. Noticed that some of the kids really struggled with the way we asked the question. Circling: Are there reading assessments that are geared for EAL students. </div>]]></description>
