Saul and David don't really have anything in common. But they DO worship God. Except, Saul stopped, while David didn't. And another DIFFERENCE, David is forgiving, meanwhile Saul is ruthless. Like when Saul was searching for David to kill him, he didn't think that maybe David was just trying to do good for the people. But when DAVID had Saul in his hands, he forgave Saul for he had done. So, personally, I think that David is a good guy, (which he IS) and Saul is the bad guy.

Self-Discipline

Self-Discipline is important because it can actually help you. It's of controlling your emotions, (which is said in the king and his hawk) managing yourself, and recognizing your limits (the boy who tried to be the sun).
