I think that both sides are correct, the first one from the photographer is right about the polar bear starving because of the way the polar bear is searching through the bins for food to eat, the starvation would then eventually lead to the death of the polar bear. And National Geographic is correct in the way that the polar bear is not in its natural habitat, assuming that it was chased out because of the melting sea ice due to climate change, it would then have to live in an environment unfit for them with limited food that are suitable for them to live. I wouldn't have changed the title of the video as they are both correct in their own way.

We think that the video is trying to say that polar bears are about to be extinct due to climate change.

Yes.I would change it to "climate change matters". Climate change resulted in the polar bears looks and behaviour. The polar bear shown in the video is very weak and looks very hungry.It looks so weak that it has a unfunctioning foot.It looks like its gonna die.It loos very skinny and thin. The background looks dry and away from natural habitat. The ice probably melted and the polar bear have no place to go .

The lives of the polar bears are in danger because of human activities. As climate change is making their natural habitat melt, they are forced to live in an unsuitable habitat.Yes, i would title it as ¨ Human activities affecting animals lives¨ The video shows polar bears habitat being melted and having difficulty finding food.

I agree about the different perspective of people as humans have different view of things and different ways of thinking of things. I would not have given a different title for this video as I agree with what the publisher has stated. We humans has done a lot of damage to the environment resulting in climate change. The video on the polar bear shows how great it has affect the natural habitats of animals.

my thoughts are that the different perspectives has relations as climate change can result to starvation as sated by the photographer. Because of climate change, carbon dioxide increases so does heat. When heat increases it effects food consumption for a variety animals. Like shown, because of climate change essential food for the polar bear(which is seal), is not accessable for them as the heat produced melted the ice which was a way for polar bears to catch its prey.
yes, I would have given a different title for the video. I would title it as " the result of human activities" . I would title it as shown because I feel that we have to emphasise that its us human that are causing this terrible situations. By titling it as stated humans will know that is directed to them and know that its time for them to make a change so that innocent animals like the polar bear is not affected. This will help humans realise that there is not much time thus, we need to act quickly on this issue which is reducing human activities resulting to lesser contributions to climate change

We think that it is the way people look at the picture to decide the perspective of what the picture is trying to show. For example, the Instagram post states it is what starvation looks like, this is most likely due to them focusing on the polar bear looking very malnutrition, skinny, weak and desperately looking for food to eat. However, the video from National Geographic states it is what climate change looks like and the effect it has on something, this is most likely due to the people focusing on the wider picture and looking at the background, seeing that all the ice has melted and the polar bear is stranded due to global warming, thus climate change. We would not have given a different title for the video as the title matches the topic which is climate change and the video does show what effect it has on animals when global warming/climate change occurs

Different people have different views, which causes different perspectives. Starvation in a way does relate to climate change which causes a decrease in food and a loss of homes. The photographer probably felt that the cause of the polar bear being that skinny is due to starvation and not climate change while national geographic on the other hand saw that the environment is not the polar bear's natural habitat as there was no ice around. Both views are spreading awareness so that people who see the post can do something about it and make a change.

1.) Both are similar that the polar bear is suffering in a hot weather and having difficulties finding for food. The photographer that took the video of the polar bear was to show that the bear was very skinny due to starvation. And for the national geographic, the bear is not in its natural habitat. The title in our opinion should not be changed as both titles suit the situation.

i agree with both perspectives. It is shown in the video that the polar bear is looking for food and it looks unstable and restless which suggests that it is starving. On the other hand, the surrounding looks dry and humid which suggests climate change and it is shown in the video that the polar bear was dragging itself to move around as it is very dehydrated.

The first photographer took that as the title as he was only focusing on the bear, but not what lead to the bear turning that way. He observed how much fats the bear lost as well as how skinny it is as compared to other bears. Meanwhile, the other photographer included climate change in his title as he was not only observing the bear, but also what lead the bear to the situation. The setting of the video also included the dryness of the plantations, how it was turning brown, and how there was an empty rusty metal barrel, which was where the polar bear had to search for food.

I would have went with the second title, "This is what climate change looks like." so that people would be aware and change their behaviours which could contribute to climate change

i think that both perspective are reasonable as the polar bear is seen searching for food and it is not in its natural habitat. It shows that the polar bear is at a place with no snow and high temperature. It is also limping which shows how weak and unstable it is. its bones are also exposed which shows that it was lacking of food and nutrients. I think that a more suitable title for this video would be " your act of kindness matters ". This is because if it weren't for human's actions , animals would not have to suffer the lost of their natural habitats leaving them to extinct

I think that the different perspectives are correct. The starvation could have been avoided if the climate change did not occur. The climate change have caused the polar bear to lose its natural habitat which causes the polar bear to find it hard to search for food in the new environment. This then led to the polar bear having to starve. The starvation perspective only focuses on the actions of the polar bear which is the main focus in the video. However, the perspective on climate change focuses on the background of the polar bear which shows a place that polar bears shouldn't be at. I would change the title of the video to "Climate change causing polar bears to starve" because i think that it is reasonable to put the cause of the starvation too?
