I enjoyed this trip! The AVID tutors were so fun to walk around the huge campus with and the trivia questions were fun too. I liked how they educated us where to go if this or that happened. I also liked the trivia questions!

The seniors were fun to talk to and showed that even though they are in avid they still could have no clue what they want to do and still be thinking about it.

I loved the field trip we took. AVID in HS seems to help a lot more in the long run then I thought it would. The campus is huge and honestly a bit scary. But I loved being able to see friends that used to go to DOTY and talk to them again

This field trip was so much fun because we got to see the perspective of high schoolers. We also got to see how it would be in a day at high school. I also enjoyed how honest our seniors were to give us advice in advance.

The DMS AVID visit to DHS had many pros and many cons. Starting off with the pros, I liked how the campus is big enough and doesn't feel overcrowded. I liked the variety in electives. Another thing that I thought was good was the community. I enjoy how the seniors were really kind, helpful, and funny. Some of the cons I would say DHS has is the confusing schedule and placement of buildings. I disliked how there was not much shade.

I think it was really cool of the Avid coordinators to introduce all the 8th grade Avid to a new introduction to high school Avid.They did a very good job , they didn’t make everything very strict so it was fun and the coordinators were hilarious and their peers should be proud of them.
