This recommendation came from my favorite reading buddy, Mollie. She's never handed me a book that I haven't LOVED. It's fiction- about a gifted woman scientist, living in the 1960's, who happens to be autistic. She's living in the male-dominated world of science, but her autism helps her get ahead and break gender boundaries.

I found this graphic novel on a library "must read" list and checked it out for my son. He didn't seem interested though, so I think I will use it to kickstart my independent reading. I always thought I didn't like graphic novels, but turns out, I usually do!
