3 formative assessment choices I would utilize in my classroom? Why would I use each?

1) "Give me Five" I would use this in my classroom because it is a very fast way to see exactly where each student thinks they are at and which ones I need to go help.

2) 3 Things. I would use this because sometimes your students know what other students don't understand better than you, so by having them write what others might misunderstand, it is a good way for you to reflect and think about how to teach it.

3) Exit Ticket. I would use this because it is a simple way to see each students level of understanding from that days lesson.

How is this similar or different from what you have learned in other classes?

This is similar to what I have learned in 440 because we talked about formative assessments and how important it is to be using formative assessments daily. It is very important to know where your students are in your class, along with giving them the appropriate feedback.
