The first thing you need is a hobby or something that will take up your time that you will be willing to give up your time to do. This hobby is something that you want to do and that you find fun. Next you have to picture yourself being successful in that thing and if you can't, I would recommend finding a new hobby. Maybe something that you are good at. Next, you have to get on the grind and do whatever it takes to reach your goal. Once you start this step, there is no turning back. If you are too far in, there is no giving up. After a long time of work, maybe out 10-20 years, you should have reached your goal. If you have not, you have to be wiling to give up more time to get better because you need to achieve that goal after all that time. Imagine working on a sculpture for 100 consecutive hours, and once you are done you destroy it.
