"Tryst with Destiny" is about the change that needs to happen to make things in India better. One thing that stuck out to me the most was "wipe every tear from every eye" mainly because that is from the Bible and was said to be something Gandhi said.
- Peyton

The speech "Tryst with Destiny" is a short speech about Indian and what needs to happen to make it better.
Something that stood out to me was "A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new"
So many of us like to live in the past and never really want to explore other things so we stay the same way we've always been. But we need toto learn to get outa of our comfort zone now and then

"Nevertheless the past is over, and it is the future that beckons to us now.

That future is not one of ease or resting but of incessant striving so that we might fulfill the pledges we have so often taken and the one we shall take today. The service of India means the service of the millions who suffer. It means the ending of poverty and ignorance and disease and inequality of opportunity."

The speech "Tryst with Destiny" focuses on the aspects that transcend India's history.
The quote that stood out to me was : "That future is not one of ease or resting but of incessant striving so that we might fulfill the pledges we have so often taken and the one we shall take today."
It was basically saying nothing comes easy, you have to work for things. We will fulfill our duties or whatever we need to accomplish if we just keep going and pushing on.
