This is an example of perspective taking. In this article, a girl is searched at the airport because of her nationality as an Arab. Instead of getting mad, she thanked the guards and wished them a good day. Just like Scout is taught to, the girl in the article stops, puts herself in others shoes, and thinks about their perspective of things.

The irony in this picture that the school is announcing a literacy night, and misspelled it. The reason that irony is connected to To Kill A Mockingbird, is the role Calpurnia in teaching Jem and Scout (mainly Scout) about empathy. The ironic thing is that even though people have discriminated and hated against Calpurnia for who she is, she still teaches Jem and Scout to be good people, to think about the perspective of other people.

Something similar to this is found in part 1 of T.K.A.M when people around town start assuming that Boo Radley had something to do with all the small crimes happening around the town. The people assuming that Boo Radley was doing all those crimes, didn't have any or enough evidence that proved that he had done such things making his reputation towards townsfolk worse than it was before.
