         <description><![CDATA[<div>Timelines and Singular Focus on Curriculum when we have other school goals/goals for students.<br><br>Confidence in the curriculum<br>What is the "best and most enduring art"?&nbsp; What is the "shared history" we are teaching?&nbsp; Is the diversity of our community represented?<br><br>Public messaging<br><br>Concern for Student Learning and Potential for Future Curriculum Change<br>Filling in/identifying any potential gaps in curriculum or skills that could be missed.&nbsp;<br>Quick implementation, not enough time to collaborate with colleagues.<br>Struggling with confidence in our abilities to present new content&nbsp;<br>Lack of supports/resources (for example, CBE has created so many resources to support the current curriculum, do they carry over? Can we still use them?)<br>Time&nbsp;<br>- "seasoned" teachers know the current curriculum, inside-out; to learn a whole new curriculum in such a short period of time will be difficult. New teacher's have a leg up on this front.<br>- it takes time to develop lessons/ideas, etc. It feels like we're all starting from scratch again and have to re-develop ideas/lessons.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>PL opportunities that are embedded in other PL throughout the year<br><br>Resources at developmental levels<br><br>Alignment of CBE assessment docs (which are very useful to us in PLC) to the new curriculum progression.<br>-team planning time<br>-system PD<br>-lots of PD/CBE supportive documentation<br>-co-created messaging to families to support their questions and fears<br>-repository of print resources, websites and kid friendly resources to support content learning in new topics<br>Time&nbsp;<br>- time to team plan<br>- time to figure out how the new curriculum aligns with our SDP goals so we can incorporate all of it into our PLC time<br>- time to explore resources that CBE may develop and publish</div>]]></description>
