🧩 Μέρος Α – Προετοιμασία

1. Επιλέξτε χαρακτήρα από ένα έργο του Shakespeare.

2. Αναζητήστε πληροφορίες για τον χαρακτήρα στο Φωτόδεντρο, No Fear Shakespeare ή άλλες ψηφιακές πηγές.

3. Διαμορφώσετε 1-3ερωτήσεις που θα θέλατε να κάνετε στον χαρακτήρα.

4. Στο Padlet, αναρτήστε τις ερωτήσεις σας και σχολιάστε ερωτήσεις άλλων ομάδων.

1. Υποδυθείτε τον ρόλο του χαρακτήρα ή του συνεντευξιαστή.

Question 1: Why do you hesitate to take revenge for your father’s death?

Hamlet: My mind is torn between duty and doubt. Revenge is a sacred task, yet I fear the sin of blood and the deceit of appearances. I must be certain before I strike.

Question 2: Do you truly love Ophelia?

Hamlet: I loved her once—aye, and still I feel her ghost within my heart. But love is poisoned when deceit and corruption rule the court. I could not love in such darkness.

Question 3: Are you mad, or do you merely pretend to be?

Hamlet: Madness, you say? Perhaps it is but wisdom in disguise. I wear madness like a cloak to see the truth in others’ eyes, though at times I fear the cloak becomes my skin.

Were you married with someone or in love ?

Actually my lover was Ophelia – the daughter of Polonius. I loved her, but my relationship fell apart because of the tragic events. Ophelia later went mad and drowns.

Tell me something about your personality

I actually think that i am Intelligent, sensitive, thoughtful, but also indecisive and deeply emotional.

-What not is done… but the blood never truly works away?

Answer: 1.I believe it was true love and powerful, though born in youth and defiance.

Question: 2.If you could go back and change one moment,would you still choose to love Romeo despite the danger?

Answer: 2. Yes, I would still choose to love Romeo. Even though it was dangerous and made it hard, my love for him was stronger than fear.

Question: 3. What message would you give to young lovers today who face obstacles like you did?

Answer: 3. I would tell young lovers to love each other, be brave, and try to be careful.

Prince Hamlet, many accuse you of hesitating too much — of thinking and analyzing everything until you are paralyzed by doubt. How do you see this “delay”? Was it fear, moral conflict, or perhaps a way of resisting a world that demands revenge without reflection?

Hamlet:

Delay… perhaps. Yet maybe it was the only thing that kept me human. My father was murdered, my mother married his killer, and I was left to decide whether to become an avenger or a victim of my own conscience. It is not easy to kill, even when justice is on your side. Thought was my sword — and doubt, the wound that struck it from my hand.

2. Journalist:

You lived in a court full of lies, intrigue, and betrayal. Do you believe human nature is inherently corrupt, or do circumstances drive people into darkness? If you were given another chance, would you ever trust again?

Hamlet:

Human nature… it is like a dim mirror. Look into it in darkness, and you see only your own face, distorted. I do not believe we are born evil; we simply learn how to hide. If you ask about trust… yes, I would trust again — perhaps not people, but the truth that lies behind their actions. We may lie, but our deeds never do.

If you could address the audience of the 21st century, what message would you want to leave them with? Do you think your tragedy still speaks to a world that, like yours, struggles between reason and madness?

Hamlet:

Your world is not so different from mine. You wear masks too — only yours glow through screens instead of candlelight. The question remains the same: to live, or not to live truthfully. If I have something to tell you, it is this — do not fear to look within yourselves. The fear of truth is more poisonous than any vial Claudius ever poured.

1)My most significant challenge was the appetite of Rome of Egypt,having to constantly balance alliances and influence in order to protect Egypt becoming a mere Roman province.

2)My greatest success lies in the extraordinary longevity of my alliances with Roman leaders, guaranteeing Egyptian independence for a prolonged period in History.

3)My biggest ambition was of a Ptolemaic kingdom,a prospering independent empire that could secure hegemony of Mediterranean and prosper under home rule.

They can’t be together because they come from rival families that have been fighting for years .

She kills herself with Romeos dagger after she finds him dead beside her ,cause she can’t live without him.

My heart is full of joy! My beloved Juliet met her new love of her life, Romeo. Never before I have saw her shine like that. Her eyes were shining like two big stars. I went with her as a messenger, and I felt again young. Romeo talked to her with such kindness. I couldn’t help but cry from joy. Although I am afraid of the wrath of the families. I wish their love to bring peace. My little one deserves every happiness!

Today my heart feels heavy, yet I cannot speak of it aloud.. you are the only one I can confidently talk about my secrets with. Father watches me closely, making sure I do not go anywhere near Hamlet.

And Hamlet - oh, Hamlet - his words sound colder now, as if love itself has fled from him. The silence in the halls sounds louder and louder as time passes. I feel like a ghost roaming endlessly and helplessly. I miss when my life was full of laughter and joy, when I could dream .. now even the flowers seem to mourn.

This morning began peacefully.I woke early to the soft sound of the sea outside our window.Othello was already awake, preparing for his duties .I brushed me hair and helped Emilia with some small tasks-arranging my dress , folding linens and, preparing a light meal.

When Othello returned his fac seemed thoughtful,as if burdenence by cares he would not share .I tried to cheer he should not share I tried to cheer him with gentle words yet he smiled only faintly .Should I trust him in his love ?he has always been kind and noble

Dear Diary,

Today my sweet Juliet sent me to meet Romeo the young man who has stolen her heart. I was scared at first by what she had said he is a Montague, the enemy of her family! But when I saw the love in his eyes and heard the truth in his voice, I felt better. He asked me to help plan their secret wedding, and even though I was scared, I couldn't say no to her happiness. Maybe their love will bring peace to Verona, but I have a bad feeling that sadness may come before happiness. Vaso

Everyone said it was to save Rome, but it didn’t feel right. I was scared. There was shouting and blood everywhere.

Now Caesar is dead, and I don’t feel brave — just sad and confused.

Today Rome felt uneasy. The air was filled with fear. The people whisper of strange omens- lions in the streets, ghosts in the Capitol- but no one truly knows what they mean. Caesar's power grows and the Senate bends before him. I see conflict in noble Brutus, torn between friendship and duty to Rome. I will remain silent and watch the storm unfold. Whatever the gods have planned, Rome must face her fate.

Today I think about the mistake that ruined everything.I wanted to know which of my daughters loved me most so I asked them to prove it with words. I was blind to the truth. The ones who spoke beautifully lied and the only one who loved me ,I sent away.

Now,I have lost my crown,my home and my peace. I woke in the storm ,half mad , but I finally see now how foolish I was.

Caesar was strong. He brought peace,but also power and control. Now that he is gone,Rome feels weak and lost. Something terrible happened today.

People is streets thought I was another Cinna ,the one who helped kill CAESAR.

Recently I was cast out from my family, even though I’ve done nothing wrong, except maintain loyalty to my father. How unfair! Now, I'm forced to pretend to be this "Poor Tom", a mad beggar, in order to hide from Gloucester’s men. This is no way to live! However, the positive side of this unfortunate situation Im in, I’ve become more compassionate after gaining some insight into human suffering.

The past few days hare been rough, I've been living on the fringes of society, naked and hungry. I cant live like this anymore... Let's hope tomorrow is different
