My group and I had to do it about Ireland. We first watched a video and after that, we had to do a summary of it, and  do an oral presentation based on that.
In our case, we used ''Bubble.us''  (a website where you can do mindmaps) to prepare it. I had never used this app before doing this proyect, and I think it's a very good option when you have to do this type of proyects, and it's also user friendly, so it's perfect!
I also did my first oral presentation in English, and I was really nervous, but I think I didn't do it as bad as I thought I would do it. And the nerves dissapeared along the presentation.
It was a great experience. I can't wait to see what's next!

Although I've always wanted to, I had never searched any kind of information before last week. 
We made groups and depeding on which group you were, you had to search information of an university or another.
I had to do it of Cambridge university. And even although I thought  it was going to be an easy task, it wasn't at all. But luckily, I finally found the information I was looking for. And the conclussion is: It's very difficult to be accepted by Cambridge university! But as Jack Ma said:
Never give up. Today is hard, tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine.
Apart from this, I've also learnt to search information in the universities websites without getting lost.
Next time I have to do it I'm sure I'll be completly ready!

And last week, we had to do one. 
It was a bit difficult to write, not only because I had never written one before, but also because I have not done many things in my life to write. Luckily, the teacher taught us how to do it and showed us that there are more things that we have done and we can write that the ones we thought. 
I have not done the perfect cover letter, but although it is not perfect, the most important thing is that I have learnt how to do it and the steps I have to follow. We used ''canva'' to do it, because it has a huge variety of templates. And although I had to change a few things, it was very useful.
I had never used canva before using the résumé, so appart of learning how to write a résumé, I have also discovered a great webpage to do any kind.

She told us about her experience studying here in Spain and how was going abroad in another country, which I found really interesting. 
She also gave us the chance of asking her any question we wanted to ask. I asked her if she used to work at the same time she was studying here, and she told me that she used to help the teachers in their lessons in a High school instead of working.
After her visit, I am totally sure I want to study abroad at least once in my life!
In conclusion, listening to Amy's story was very interesting  and I hope she come to more classes and tell us about more things.

In the second term, we are going to focus on universities interviews and how to deal with them. I have never done aything like that, so it will probably be a little bit challenging at first, but I know we all will learn a lot!

The video showed us different situations. In the first one, we could see a boy who answer propperly to all the questions and had good behaviour. In the second situation, the same guy appeared but with not a very properly behaviour and giving answers that didn't sound very well.

I did it with Angela, and although we were very nervous, the nerves disappeared as soon as we had been five minutes speaking. And what is more important, we have learnt a lot about we must and mustn’t do in a interview. 

Right know we just have to practise and we will be ready for a real one very soon!

That’s why today the teacher told us to watch a video about what we must and mustn't to do in an interview (related to body language), and how to clean it up. 

The video has very useful information for us to know, but the three things that are more important are: Have a good eye contact, a firm handshake and have a good posture. 

The key right now is in practise and being relaxed and confident!

We had to choose between the most famous questions that are asked in interviews and answer one of them. After we had chosen one, we had to elaborate a good answer and send it to the teacher. To send it, we could record an audio file or record a video. 

In my case, I did a video answering the question: ‘’What are your weaknesses?’’ While I was recording the video I had to be aware of the body language at the same time I was answering to the question, so it wasn’t an easy task. Finally, after recording it at least 30 times, I finally had the result I wanted.

Answering to a real interview question has been a very enriching experience, and I’m sure that all the things I have learnt will be very useful for my future interviews.

It seems like it was yesterday when we were starting the first time and I didn't know how was it going to be studying this subject. 

Today we have started the last term and with it the final stretch. I can believe it. 

I only wish this third term will be as awesome as the two past… We will see!

To do it, you have two choices: Broadsheets or tabloids. Before searching information, I had no idea about the differences between them, but now I do, and there are many.

Now, thanks to that research, I will have very clear what type of newspaper I want to read when I will move to another country!

That's why we have to choose very wisely where and how we want to live at.

That is why we had to do a simulation of finding a flat to live at, in order to learn how to do it when the time will arrives.

Now I know all this information, I won't have any problem in the future!

Depending on the country, there are some questions or expressions that are or aren’t appropriate to say. 

That's why last class we learnt what questions or expressions are appropiate or inappropiate to say when you are having a conversation.

That's why today we have learnt how to find the best offers when searching what to do.

I chose the theater, more specifically, the Aladdin musical. And to be honest, it hasn't been a very difficult task, but I had to explore very carefully all the options I had.

It has been a very interesting activity to do and I am very happy with my result. Last daym, we learnt how to find good TV series to watch when you are in a foreign country. I chose ''The handmaid's tale''. It is about a dystopian society that treats women as property of the state, forcing many into sexual servitude to repopulate a devastated world.

I already had some ideas on my mind like: The cup of tea, the queen of England, the Notting Hill’s doors, the carpets, the pubs, the rain, and so on. 

But after reading the list that the teacher shared us, I have found more icons that I hadn’t thought about! Some of them are: James Bond, Pride And Prejudice, Sherlock Holmes, the cricket or Damien Hirst's Shark!

It has been very interesting to learn more about the country’s icons and reading what English people think about them.

Although I already thought this subject was going to be one of my favourite subjects before even assisting to the first class, I never thought a subject would change my life more than this one has. 

It is incredible the amount of knowledge I have acquired without even noticing. And most importantly: having always a lot of fun! I never thought I could be that happy studying and learning.

For all this, If I could start the year again, I would chose ESP a thousand times more! It makes me so sad to say goodbye to the best subject of my whole life, but as our teacher said: ''The best is yet to come''

If you ever have the opportunity to study this subject, don't doubt it and do it! I assure you you won't regret it.
