Ensuring that I always do the proper research for both sides of the argument. I don't pay any attention to advertisements and always skip them, I would rate myself a 5.

I agree good writing can be very persuasive but it also takes different things to change different minds. I check for facts and try to understand what they want me to believe then decide if I should. I would place myself at a 4.

I think that I persuaded easily, and I think it is hard to see the facts vs. the lies in todays world. There are so many resources that people can use to persuade you and your opinion, you need to make sure you can find the same information on other sources and not just one (check sources). I would rate myself 3/5 on "ruling minds" in advertising.

Personally, when trying to analyze a problem I avoid using only one source, as that can end up letting yourself be manipulated by someone else, creating my own opinion. I rate myself a 3.5-4.

When you are looking at an advertisement it’s important to think about potential bias. Also stay true to your own values and beliefs even if an advertisement tries to “push” you to do something through appealing to pathos. I would rate myself a 5.

Educate yourself and learn a lot, so you're not easily persuaded. Don't debate on or immediately believe something that you are not educated on. I would rate myself a 4-5 at being able to see through ads.

It depends on the information that is given. If it is a product being sold to me then my mind is ruled by my peers and whether they believe it is worthy of my praise. If it is news affecting me then I have to double check other sources. My mind is ruled by my faith on others.

I always look at the sources that they got the information from. I like to fact check by looking the statement up online as well. I would rate myself a 3.5/5.
