Our recitation will be killer because we start with something that's relateable to get the audience hooked, we use pauses and add emphasis to the parts required. We will present our recitation by presenting it. movement in our poem.
The tips I learned from the video are to use analogies and metaphors. I've also learned to have audience interaction but not at the very start. Open with personal story, powerful quote, or some sort of hook that relates to the topic.

The simplicity and it's inspiring nature draws people in as they like to feel comfortable and I think it could classify this poem recitation as "Killer". I think this partially ties in to trust with your audience and I hope it creates a friendly atmosphere during and after the presentation. During the poem I will try and focus on certain audience members to make the more fell like the poem could be directed towards them. When you recite a poem you have to change your tone of voice when you say different things. You also need to make sure that your place emphasis on certain words. I plan on using interaction but in a slightly different context. Instead of talking to them I will try and focus on them making them feel like the poem is made specifically to inspire them.

We will also stand accordingly to the current emotion in the recitation. Finally, we will include our facial expressions and body language according to the emotion of the reading as well.

From the video, we have learned that it is important to present like you are telling a story.
